Alumni
The Capilano Rugby Football Club is both proud and fortunate to have a supportive alumni association. The members of the Alumni Association share their passion for the sport of rugby and the Capilano Rugby community through contributions of time and energy as well as financial support. The Alumni are responsible for contributing to a variety of club-related activities, including the administration of the Stormy Exchange and the Jimmy Morris/Ozzie Gjerdalen Scholarship, as well as supporting financial requests for Capilano RFC members to participate in representative rugby.
The three programs are:
- The Stormy Exchange: Annual rugby exchange between Capilano RFC and East Coast Bays RFC in New Zealand;
- The Jimmy Morris/Ozzie Gjerdalen Scholarship: for students pursuing post-secondary education.
The Club will announce calls for submissions for any year that the scholarships can be awarded.
