The Capilano Rugby Club has many ways where its members and the local community can support our club and its programs. The biggest way you can help is to volunteer time around the club for coaching, managing, work projects, etc.

Club Sponsorship
The Capilano Rugby Club is fortunate to have very supportive club sponsors. Without these sponsors, our club would not be able to operate, on or off the field. We are always looking for more sponsors to join our club. If you are interested or know of anyone interested, please click here.

Join the Capilano RFC Alumni
The Capilano RFC Alumni Association is always looking for new members. The definition of "Alumni" is very broad. Parents, partners, and friends who regularly attend home games should consider joining the Alumni. All former players, one season played or twenty seasons played, should strongly consider joining the Alumni. Recycling Program
If anyone has returnable cans or bottles and other beverage containers taking up space, consider donating to the Capilano RFC! The process is easy!
Step 1: Empty and rinse the container

Hotels Discount Program
The Capilano Rugby Club has partnered with Rugby Travel Deals in a way to provide benefit to our members and to provide support to our club.
When booking any travel, use your account with Rugby Travel Deals (Capilano RFC) to access up to 50% on hotel stays worldwide. Most of the deals are in the 20-30% range, depends on the dates and the city.
The club will receive a kick back from Rugby Travel Deals for all bookings. These must be made with the Capilano RFC link.

Job Opportunities and Accommodations
The club would like to create a database of club members who would be willing to assist in trying to find work opportunities and accommodations for current players. This would not be a promise of a job and a rental location, but any assistance that could be provided such as getting an interview or making a connection in a specific field of work or any short term or long term assistance with rental locations.
The club database would be designed to help; local youth and high school players who are moving into the senior teams, Capilano players at University who have graduated or will be graduating, and players coming from out of province or out of country to join the club.
This database would only be used and accessed internally by a small number of Capilano RFC Executive members. This would be the Sr. Women's Rep, The Sr. Men's Rep and the Club Captain. Contact information would not be shared directly with any of our members. Capilano RFC Executive members would reach out directly to those in the database when needed.
If you are interested in assisting, please email Chris Robinson. Please provide your name, contact information and what areas of work you could potentially help out in. This could be multiple areas of work and could also include areas of work family or friends could help out with as well.

Support Annual Club Events
There are many events over the course of the year you can support at the Capilano Rugby Club. Please consider supporting any club event you are able to. Some things that can be supported on an annual basis include:
Pink Day - This annual fundraiser for cancer research is held in October. 100% of the gate goes towards the fundraising efforts. There is also a silent auction and a bake sale. Special Pink Jerseys are created each year and can be purchased to support the cause.
Toy Drive - This annual event to support our community members is held on the first or second Saturday in December. Bring a new, unwrapped, unopened toy which will be given to a local family in need. We also collect non-perishable food items as well as gift cards. This event is run in support of four great local organizations:
- North Shore Family Services
- North Shore Salvation Army
- North Van Neighbourhood House
- North Shore Food Bank
Blood Donations - The Capilano Rugby Club has been an official partner with Canadian Blood Services since 2018. Each year since, we have hosted multiple group blood donations. Our team is open to anyone who would like to join. Invite family and friends to join our team as well. Details on how to join the team can be found below.
Every 60 seconds in Canada, someone needs blood. We all know someone who has needed blood at one point in their lives. Our club members have been giving blood to our jerseys and local fields for over 50 years. Being an official blood partner allows us to harness our members willingness to give blood and help fulfill the need for blood donations in Canada.
