WHERE: Capilano Rugby Club. 305 Klahanie Court.
WHEN: Saturday December 13th, 2025.
Drop in anytime between 12pm - 4pm.
The Capilano Rugby Club has been hosting a Toy Drive every year since 1984. The 42nd annual event will take place on Saturday December 13, 2025 at 12:00pm. This year we will be supporting the following local organizations:
- North Shore Christmas Bureau run by North Shore Family Services
- North Shore Neighbourhood House
- North Shore Salvation Army
- North Shore Food Bank
As we have done the last few years, we will be collecting canned and non-perishable food items to be given to the North Shore Food Bank as well as toys/gifts. We will have a collection box setup beside the tree. Canned protein foods such as tuna, salmon and beans are in high demand this year.
There will be a collection of finger foods, sweets, and drinks served on the 13th. We will also have a few festive activities set up for younger children in the clubhouse. So come in and drop of your gift under the tree and stay a few minutes or a few hours and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Remember it’s all for a great cause. If you can’t make it down to the club on the 13th we will have a drop off box inside the clubhouse on Thursday December 11th. Gifts must be unwrapped and unopened. We are also happy to receive gift card donations. See the list below for suggested gift ideas. Gifts for teenagers are in the greatest demand at this time of the year.
