The Jeremy Dalton Rugby Endowment Committee is pleased to announce the presentation of the ‘Jeremy Dalton Rugby Endowment Award’ for 2026.

The Jeremy Dalton Rugby Endowment was established in 2005 by family and friends in memory of Jeremy Dalton.

Administered by the West Vancouver Foundation, this educational award is for $2,500, awarded to two Capilano Rugby Club Players, male or female, who best display the following personal attributes that were so important in Jeremy’s life:

“Academic Ambition, Community Spirit, and a love for Rugby”

The awards will be chosen by the Jeremy Dalton Rugby Endowment Committee whose decision will be final.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

In order to be considered for the Jeremy Dalton Rugby Endowment Award, a student must meet all of the following criteria:

• Be from the North Shore (North Vancouver or West Vancouver)
• Enrolled or enrolling in a recognized post-secondary educational or trade institution in B.C. or Canada.
• A current member of the Capilano Rugby Club
• Submit a hand written essay (not exceeding 500 words) explaining how you best meet the selection criteria.

SELECTION CRITERIA

• Demonstrates academic ambition
• Evidence of community spirit
• Evidence of a love for Rugby

APPLICATION CHECKLIST

Only applications that include all of the below will be reviewed by the Jeremy Dalton Rugby Endowment Committee:

• One original application form
• Your hand written essay (not exceeding 500 words)
• One supporting letter from a Capilano Rugby Club Coach*

* Note: Capilano Rugby Club Coach letter of support should be submitted with this application.

• Incomplete and late applications/references will not be accepted.
