Saturday May 23, 2026 at the Capilano Rugby Club
4:30-5:30pm - Social Hour
5:30pm - Recognition and Team Awards
6:30pm - Dinner
7:30pm - Team Awards and Club Award
10:00pm - Live DJ

Format:
The plan is to host the awards in the grandstands as we did in 2024
2025 indoor format will be used in poor weather conditions
Dress accordingly - format confirmed May 21

Tickets:

Ticketed event - $40/person
Physical ticket required for dinner and raffle

Jimmy Morris/Ozzie Gjerdalen Scholarship:

The Jimmy Morris/Ozzie Gjerdalen Scholarship Fund is proud to oversee a $1000.00 educational bursary for which any Capilano Rugby Football Club member currently enrolled in post-secondary education may apply.

Applicants must possess the qualities that both Jimmy and Ozzie admired and displayed during their lifetimes, including:

- Strength of Character

- Honesty

- A Positive Attitude

- Strong Physical and Mental Balance

- Dedication to his or her community

Interested club members are invited to submit resumes of 500 words or less along with a teacher’s supporting letter via e-mail by May 8, 2026 to Mr. Jeremy Duncan at jerduncan@icloud.com. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered this year.
