The Capilano Rugby Club is actively seeking out Assistant Coaches for the Sr. Women and Sr. Men for the 2023-2024 season. There is a large amount of rugby knowledge within our club and we would like to take advantage of that. Should you be interested or know of anyone who would be interested, please contact Chris Robinson.

The Capilano Women run two teams and train from 6:00pm to 7:30pm on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Games are played on Saturday mornings/afternoons. With two teams, often playing at different locations, an additional coach is required for Saturday games. This coach would be involved in Tuesday and Thursday training sessions under the guidance of the Women's Head Coach. The club currently has a large, and growing, number of talented and dedicated Women's players in the program. Please consider supporting this group in a coaching capacity any way that you can!

The Capilano Men run three teams and train from 7:30pm to 9:00pm on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Games are played on Saturday mornings/afternoons. Assistant Coaches would be involved in Tuesday and Thursday training sessions under the guidance of the Men's Head Coach. Full or part time coaching help would both be appreciated if available.

Anyone interested or anyone with questions, please contact Chris Robinson at crobinson25@hotmail.com

Club work database

We are always looking for ways to improve things at the Capilano Rugby Club and to increase player/club membership. Player recruitment and retention are very important to the success on the field of all our club teams. One way we can assist club members is with work/career opportunities.

The club would like to create a database of club members who would be willing to assist in trying to find work opportunities for current club players. This would not be a promise of a job, but any assistance that could be provided such as getting an interview or making a connection in a specific field of work.

The club database would be designed to help; local youth and high school players who are moving into the senior teams, Capilano players at University who have graduated or will be graduating, and players coming from out of province or out of country to join the club.

This database would only be used and accessed internally by a small number of Capilano RFC Executive members. This would be the Sr. Women's Rep, The Sr. Men's Rep and the Club Captain. Contact information would not be shared directly with any of our members. Capilano RFC Executive members would reach out directly to those in the database when needed.

If you are interested in assisting, please email Chris Robinson. Please provide your name, contact information and what areas of work you could potentially help out in. This could be multiple areas of work and could also include areas of work family or friends could help out with as well.

Example: My name is ___ (Number: (???) ???-??? or email: ???) – and I can help with work opportunities in the ??? field/industry.

Any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Chris Robinson at the contact information below. This is a small way that club members can make a large impact on club membership. We appreciate all that our club members do that make being a Capilano so special!
