The North Shore Sports Awards

The North Shore Sports Awards were held last night. Alex Mahood was named to the North Shore Sports Hall of Fame. Chris Robinson received the Community Sport Volunteer Award. Thank you to all the Capilano RFC members who attended the event to support our recipients!

Jeremy Dalton Rugby Endowment Award
All Capilano RFC members are invited to submit applications for the Jeremy Dalton Rugby Endowment Award. Administered by the West Vancouver Foundation, this educational award is for $2,500, awarded to two Capilano Rugby Club Players, male or female, who best display the following personal attributes that were so important in Jeremy’s life:

“Academic Ambition, Community Spirit, and a love for Rugby”

The Vancouver 7's take place at BC Place this weekend. Capilano RFC members Savannah Bauder and Johnny Franklin will be playing for Canada this weekend! Congratulations to both, best of luck to both Canada teams this weekend! Those with GA tickets on Saturday, Capilano RFC members are aiming for sections 222-224 and will be loud in support of Savannah and Johnny!

Go-Fund-Me Update

A MASSIVE THANK YOU to all who contributed to support our six club members impacted by the house fire on Monday. Club members have stepped up big time with financial contributions, housing support, furniture support, clothing support and emotional support. Capilano RFC members always step up to help our own!
