Capilano RFC News - April 8, 2025

BC Rugby Playoffs

The Capilano Rugby Club is proud to confirm that all four senior teams have qualified for the playoffs this season! This would make our club the only club in BC to place four team in the playoffs. All four teams will be in quarterfinal action this Saturday. The schedule for this weekend can be found below.

The club will be in tough this weekend with all four teams playing in four very different locations. Capilano supporters in the Interior, get to Kamloops to support the Women! Capilano supporters on the Island, get to Langford to support the Premier Men! Capilano supporters in the Lower Mainland, get to Burnaby or Jericho (or both) to support the Capilano Men! A little extra support on the sideline can go a long way to pushing the teams towards semifinals!

More details on the matches, including rosters for all four teams, will be sent out Friday afternoon on the club email. Caps4Life

2025 Night of the Bear - Saturday May 10

The annual Capilano RFC Awards Night will be on Saturday May 10, 2025 at the Capilano Rugby Club. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased from the bar this Thursday night. Tickets are $40 up to April 30. From May 1, tickets will be $50 so don't wait to purchase! Austin James - East Coast Bays

Capilano RFC member Austin James is currently playing on the Premier Men's side at East Coast Bays in Auckland. This past weekend, Austin scored three tries in just his second game. Well done Austin!
