Club coaches for the 2023-2024 season

The Capilano Rugby Club is pleased to announce its senior rugby Head Coaches for the 2023-2024 season. Demi Stamatakis will continue next season as the Head Coach for the Capilano Sr. Women. Neil Courtney will move from playing to be the Head Coach for the Capilano Sr. Men. Both Demi and Neil are dedicated Capilano RFC members who are committed to pushing our senior teams forward next season. Congratulations to both Demi and Neil on these appointments for the 2023-2024 season. Both the Sr. Women and Sr. Men will require coaching help. Assistant Coaches Needed

The Capilano Rugby Club is actively seeking out Assistant Coaches for the Sr. Women and Sr. Men for the 2023-2024 season. There is a large amount of rugby knowledge within our club and we would like to take advantage of that. Should you be interested or know of anyone who would be interested, please contact Chris Robinson.

The Capilano Women run two teams and train from 6:00pm to 7:30pm on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Games are played on Saturday mornings/afternoons. With two teams, often playing at different locations, an additional coach is required for Saturday games. This coach would be involved in Tuesday and Thursday training sessions under the guidance of the Women's Head Coach. The club currently has a large, and growing, number of talented and dedicated Women's players in the program. Please consider supporting this group in a coaching capacity any way that you can!

The Capilano Men run three teams and train from 7:30pm to 9:00pm on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Games are played on Saturday mornings/afternoons. Assistant Coaches would be involved in Tuesday and Thursday training sessions under the guidance of the Men's Head Coach. Full or part time coaching help would both be appreciated, if available.
