East Coast Bays Week - Full Details

The East Coast Bays Week at the Capilano Rugby Club is now in full swing. Klahanie Park has been home for the Bays since they arrived in Vancouver. Club members will be billeting the players this coming weekend. We are looking forward to a BIG Saturday at Klahanie Park. We invite all Capilano RFC members to come down to Klahanie on Saturday. Help share the details with current and former club members, alumni and former teammates.

Wednesday March 6
ECB vs Burnaby at 4:30pm (Burnaby Lake). Get out to Burnaby Lake this afternoon to support the Bays for match #2 of a three match tour.

Thursday March 7
Team dinner in the Capilano RFC Clubhouse after training (8:45pm). All club members are invited to attend. Host family billets will pick up ECB players for first night of hosting.

Friday March 8
Jamie Cudmore is hosting a coaching clinic at 5pm at the Capilano Rugby Club. This session is open to all local rugby coaches. To register, please sign up at this link by clicking here. This is a great opportunity to take advantage of, please share the details with anyone interested. The Capilano Clubhouse will be open after the session.

Saturday March 9
Please see the schedule below for the full events at Klahanie on Saturday. Two exciting rugby matches will take place on the Bob Spray Field, we hope to see the grandstands full of Capilano RFC supporters. Post match speeches will include details on the relationship between the two clubs and presentations from each club. The clubhouse will be open late into the evening!

12:30pm - Food Truck Arrives for Spectators
12:45pm - Capilano Premier Women vs UBC (Bob Spray Field)
2:30pm - East Coast Bays Men vs Capilano RFC Men (Bob Spray Field)
4:00pm - Post Match Photo on the Bob Spray Field
4:45pm - Post Match Food from Jim Leith
5:15pm - Club Speeches
