East Coast Bays Tour to Vancouver - Two Weeks Away

Our friends from the East Coast Bays in New Zealand will be arriving in Vancouver in less than two weeks! We are all very excited to host the forty person tour group for almost two weeks. Many club members have spent months planning for this tour and we are looking forward to Saturday March 9 at Klahanie Park. Below is more information on some key dates during the tour, billet information and details on Saturday March 9. Key Dates:

Wednesday February 28 - ECB Tour Group arrive in Vancouver from NZ
Thursday February 29 - (8:00pm) Meet and greet in Capilano RFC Clubhouse
Saturday March 2 - (11:15am) ECB vs Meralomas at Connaught Park
Wednesday March 6 - (4:30pm) ECB vs Burnaby at Burnaby Lake
Thursday March 7 - (8:30pm) ECB & Capilano Dinner in Capilano RFC Clubhouse
Saturday March 9 - (2:30pm) ECB vs Capilano RFC at Klahanie Park (More details below)
Monday March 11 - ECB Tour Group departs Vancouver for NZ

Billets:

Many thanks to all those who offered to host the ECB members for four nights. More information will be sent directly via email by Chris Robinson to all those who are hosting. If you have not received any hosting information yet, please contact Chris at crobinson25@hotmail.com. Hosts are to pickup the ECB members from the Capilano Rugby Club on Thursday March 7 at 8:30pm. Drop off will be at the Capilano Rugby Club at 9:00am on Monday March 11.

Saturday March 9 at Klahanie Park:

This will be a big day at Klahanie Park that you won't want to miss! All members of the community are invited. There will be two entertaining rugby matches followed by hosting with speeches in the clubhouse afterwards. A food truck will be on site during the day to feed spectators. All registered Capilano RFC Alumni Association members will be sent information regarding a lunch before the matches. We will also have some activities during the day setup for kids. More details to follow.

6:30pm - Capilano RFC Shuffleboard Tournament
7:00pm - Canucks vs Jets on the big screen
