Sad News - Barry Robert Howat (Halifax)

Celebration of Life - Saturday September 12, 2026. 4:00pm at Bridges.

May 1956 to August 2026

Barry's adventurous life included working as a long haul truck driver, working for the BC Liberals, and working for Onni as a site safety attendant. He served on the Capilano Executive as Secretary and was a loyal club member who always embraced his Williams Lake belt buckle. Dying of cancer, he was supported by his sister and close friends. Soldier on Barry. The Capilano Rugby Club sends its condolences to the family, friends and clubmates of Barry "Halifax" Howat.
