Capilano RFC News
The club has many news stories, upcoming events, and information to pass along. Please take the time to read all the sections below. News includes; Capilano Women named to BC roster, 2023 Williams Lake Tournament, Thursday Touch field schedule, 2023 NOTB award recipients, high school rugby at Klahanie, and hat/swimwear order update.
Team BC Gold
Many Capilano RFC Women have been named to Team BC Gold for the BC Sr. Women's Series. Game 1 is tomorrow in Victoria and Game 2 is June 3 at UBC. More details and full rosters can be found by clicking here. Congratulations to current Capilano RFC players Gillian Boag, Teya Ashworth, Danielle Fearns, Melissa Robinson, and Catrina Thompson for being named to the roster for tomorrow. Current UBC players and Carson Graham graduates Lyric Atchison and Savannah Bauder have also been named to the roster. Best of luck to all players taking the field tomorrow!
Williams Lake 2023
It’s almost that time of year again for the 42nd Williams Lake Stampede Rugby Fest! We will be entering both a Women's and Men's team Please fill in the following GoogleForm to register: https://forms.gle/iC9UJ82XzAf53sWD6 REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS: FRIDAY JUNE 16th
*NOTE Because the Holiday lands on the Monday this year, games will take place on Saturday July 1 and Sunday July 2. Most head up some time during the day before games and return on Monday. In order to arrive at a reasonable time on Friday, it’s best suggested to book work off ASAP. Cost for the weekend is $120. This includes tourney entry fee, tour shirt, and your food for the weekend. Are you strictly a social rugby player looking for a team? If haven’t yet confirmed your attendance with Karina Christiansen or Keita Dueck via CRFC Facebook groups please email Mel If you would like to play with Capilano. Try and pay before the weekend. We will be posting more details in the coming weeks.
We are also looking for people to help organize. Let me know if you would like to help out. Please invite all those who would be interested (19+)

North Shore High School Rugby
The last two days saw great high school rugby action at Klahanie Park!! Many North Shore rugby programs took to the two fields at Klahanie in both Boys and Girls rugby matches.

The Capilano Rugby Club would like to thank the Collingwood Rugby Department for the organization of the rugby festival yesterday. Thank you as well to all the volunteers who helped make it such a great day. We are always so grateful for all our volunteers!!
There will be more high school games at Klahanie Park next Thursday May 25. Kickoff times will be posted once they are available. We hope to see another great crowd in the stands supporting the future of rugby!
The Capilano Rugby Club will post full schedules for both the Boys and Girls Provincials when those become available.
